Bada Education, a global education consultancy based in Australia, in collaboration with Jubilee Education Bali as its representative in Indonesia, successfully organized a Study Info Session aimed at providing insights into studying abroad, particularly in Australia. The event took place at Four Star by Trans Hotel Renon, Denpasar, Bali, and was attended by approximately 40 participants, including high school students, members of the general public, and parents interested in international education opportunities for their children.
As a global education consultancy, Bada Education offers comprehensive support services for prospective students planning to study overseas. These services include university and program selection, application assistance, and pre-departure guidance. In Indonesia, particularly in Bali, these services are accessible through Jubilee Education Bali, which provides direct consultation and support to students and parents.
The event featured a lineup of knowledgeable speakers. It opened with an introduction to Bada Education by Agus Dharma, Founder of Jubilee Education, representing Bada Education in Indonesia. In this session, participants were introduced to global education opportunities and the importance of well-structured academic planning.
Michelle, the representative of Torrens University in Indonesia, then presented an overview of the university’s diverse academic offerings. Torrens University provides programs across various fields, including business, design, health, and hospitality. One of its flagship institutions is the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School, which specializes in hospitality education and is globally recognized as a leading institution in the field.
Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School (BMIHMS), under Torrens University, is recognized as one of the top hospitality schools in the Asia-Pacific region and Australia. It is also ranked among the top institutions worldwide for Hospitality and Leisure Management according to the QS World University Rankings. The session continued with an interactive talk show featuring Michelle and Ida Bagus Gede Mahardika Ariguna Putra, a Balinese alumnus of Blue Mountains College, who shared firsthand experiences of studying and living in Australia, particularly in the hospitality sector.
To complement the session, participants were also introduced to English proficiency requirements through an overview of IELTS and PTE tests, delivered by Nyoman Yulia Pratiwi, an IELTS and PTE counselor at Jubilee Education. This session provided participants with a clear understanding of the preparation steps needed for studying abroad.
On the same occasion, Agus Dharma expressed his hopes for the impact of the event, emphasizing the importance of expanding access to global education and encouraging Bali’s younger generation to pursue broader opportunities through international study. “Through this event, I hope more youth from Bali will have the opportunity to pursue higher education abroad, particularly in Australia,” he stated.
